The audience includes adults with possible or diagnosed gout, families and caregivers, and healthcare professionals looking for the source detail. The main explanations use an adult US context and identify UK or European guidance where relevant.

## How we approach the subject

Start with what the reader needs to understand or do. Separate symptom assessment, flare relief, longer-term urate control, food choices, and everyday life. Give natural remedies the same basic questions as other claims: what was tested, what happened, and how certain can we be?
